Every floor needs care and attention and none more so than a busy school hall. School Halls are normally one of the most heavily used spaces in a school and as such takes a lot of wear and tear.
If the floor has not been sanded and sealed or refurbished for many years it will have either a very worn seal or no seal at all. The result is that the wood floor is further damaged by wear and the dirt will turn it a dirty black colour.
It may also be likely that floors have been re-sealed without sanding and this can make the floor “yellow” in daylight, it then turns a dirty brown colour and can also affect the level of grip the floor provides.
Heritage Floor Restoration has over 20 years of experience of school wood floor restorations and we can professionally restore, or in the worst cases replace, your wood floor without any fuss and the minimal amount of disruption; none if you have the work carried out during school holidays.
Many school halls are also used for sports and have court markings and we offer a Court Marking service that adheres to Sport England specifications. Heritage Flooring Restoration always use the latest paints, technology and equipment to complete all line marking installations, on all floorings, we can line mark practically any surface.
